Private event for LALSRM members, visiting railroaders, modelers and hobbyists, historical railroad organizations, and their families and friends. LALSRM is celebrating our 70th Anniversary! Four days of trains, special events, exhibits, 70th anniversary souvenirs, food and friendship over the Memorial Day Weekend.
No Public Train Rides on Sunday, May 24.
Gauges and Steaming Bays: Tracks in four gauges: 7-1/2″, 4-3/4″, 3-1/2″ and Gauge-1. LALSRM has two train yards and 44 steaming bays, as well as two hydraulic lifts. Steam Locomotives: Current boiler inspection tags, spark arrestors, ash pans required. Night ops: you must have FREDs and running/parking lights. Please bring your own propane fuel, if using.

- Kids’ Krafts with Martha – 10:30 am to 2:30 pm
- President’s Auction at 2:05 pm
- BINGO for all ages at 3:45 pm with prizes
- BBQ Ribs & Chicken Dinner 6 pm – please RSVP

Menu: BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, BBQ Tri-Tip, Potato Salad, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Baked Beans, Corn on the Cob, Caesar Salad, Cornbread, Dessert & Beverage. Vegetarian Options.

President’s Auction: 2:05 pm Saturday, May 23. Donations welcome: train equipments, tools and railroad-related items only. Contact Don Kallgren or Nick Suncin. Payment is due immediately after auction ends at Souvenir Table.
RV and Tent Camping is available and free (no hook-ups), starting at noon Wednesday. First come, first served.
Parking: free parking in Members’ outer parking lot and street. No parking inside – temporary unloading and loading only. Handicapped parking will be available on driveway in marked spaces. Please display handicap tag.
