About Us
Experience the fun and history of railroading at Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum in Griffith Park. Founded in 1956 by a group of train enthusiasts, we educate the public in railroad history and show live steam, gas-mechanical and electric railroad technology in actual operation. As you look around our facility, most everything you see, including the trains, were built by our members. We are an all-volunteer, donor-funded organization and offer public rides on Sundays, weather permitting. We are constantly improving the railroad. Learn more about our facility…
