Public Rides

We operate our 7½” gauge model trains for the general public to ride from 11 am – 3 pm every Sunday (weather permitting), except for the Sunday before Memorial Day and the first Sunday in October.

All riders must be at least 34″ tall to ride (no infants in carriers or on laps), and weigh less than 350 pounds. Handicapped riders must be able to transfer to a straddle type riding car, and be able to sit upright for at least 15 minutes. Animals are never allowed to ride.

The Los Angeles Live Steamers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and survives solely on public donations (suggested donation $3.00 per person). In keeping with our philosophy of giving back to our community, we also host special events for Children’s Hospital, The City of Hope, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Tri Valley Special Games and other organizations.
