Spring Meet Host: Bear Mustoe.

Official Kickoff: 6 pm Friday evening – Spaghetti Dinner by our Board of Directors. No cost. Movie following at 7:30 pm.

Gauges & Steaming Bays: Tracks in four gauges: from Gauge-1 to 7-1/2”, 4-3/4”, and 3-1/2”. LALSRM has two train yards with two turntables and 44 steaming bays, as well as two hydraulic lifts for easy access to tracks. Self-test gauge behind yellow Doug House.  Steam Locomotives: Current boiler inspection tags, spark arrestors, ash pans required. Night operations: you must have FREDs and running/parking lights. Please bring your own propane fuel, if using.

President’s Auction: Saturday at 1:30 pm. Train equipment and railroad-related items only. Donations are welcome (no books, magazines, paintings or films, please). Payment is due immediately after auction ends. Roger Williams – Auction Coordinator.

Saturday BBQ Dinner, 6 pm: $23 a plate for adults. $10 a plate for children (smaller portions).
Menu: BBQ Ribs (Pork and Beef), BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Corn, Cornbread, Dessert & Beverage. Vegetarian options. Purchase dinner tickets in person at the Meet, limited supply. See cashier at the Souvenir Table.

Meals for purchase at Kountry Kitchen: All American Breakfast ($8) on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 to 9 am. Grilled Hamburger or Hot Dog Plate ($9) on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 to 1:00 pm. Continental Breakfast ($5) on Monday from 7:30 to 9 am. No meal will be served Sunday evening.

Parking: Free parking in Members’ Parking Lot. No parking inside facility – temporary loading and unloading only. Handicapped parking will be available on Crystal Springs Drive, inside the Members’ Gate. Please display handicap tags.

Camping is available and free (no hook-ups) for tents and RV’s, starting at 12 noon Thursday. Marked parking spaces for RV campers in our Members’ Parking Lot. No campers inside facility.
